Why Play for the Shamrocks?
Let us just start off by saying the Shamrocks are not for everyone. We are looking for players that are extremely passionate about the game of baseball and who want to develop. So if your only concerns are playing a lot of games and getting college exposure please hit that x in the top right corner because we are not going to be the right fit for you.
Make no mistake about it, we do play a lot of baseball games over the course of a season, and our instruction is provided by current and former college coaches, so you will be showcasing yourself, but traveling around from tournament to tournament is not our main goal. As you will see throughout our website, our main goal is to DEVELOP you as a player and more importantly as a young man.
If you are constantly striving to reach your highest potential, and are producing both on the field and in the classroom, coaches will find you. Don’t be a player who gets exposed because you didn’t take the time to develop.
When you play for the Shamrocks you will not only learn how to physically improve your game but you will also learn how to play the game “the right way.” You will learn the intricacies that many coaches don’t take the time to teach and with a much better understanding of how the game is played we are confident that you will showcase at your highest potential.
Our main objective with the Shamrocks is making sure that we develop boys into respectful young men by using the field as our platform. All players who graduate through our program will learn how to become leaders. They will be held accountable for their actions. They will learn how to sacrifice for the betterment of the team and they will learn how to compete for what they want.
